Who We Are

Flourishing Minds University is a life coaching and mentoring organization that is in direct response to providing a solution for the growing number of underserved children.

We empower children to embrace their true identity while unleashing their inner potential by teaching them how to use the power of their mind and the power of their thoughts to:

Handle the ups and downs of growing up without getting down on themselves or giving up on themselves
Create happiness and success regardless of their circumstances
Think for themselves, stand up to peer pressure and make good decisions
Go for their dreams and make them happen

We are here to provide each child with the support they need to shape them into leaders of the future. We offer various mindset development and life skill educational programs that help nurture kids, in developing the life skills that they will carry throughout their lives.

Our Mission

We strive to educate and empower children ages 6-12 to reach their full potential in developing independence, resilience, soaring self-esteem, confidence and success, using fun stories and activities.

This mission is carried out by highly trained staff/volunteers and a specialized curriculum. FMU values the importance of character, commitment to the family and community, respect for the individual, and celebrating our differences.

Our Philosophy

We as parents can’t give our children confidence, self-esteem, hope or success… but it can be taught.

It is our core belief that children need further attention such as guidance, leadership, coaching and teaching. Due to the lack of resources in our community and the development of destructive habits, children have lost faith in the possibilities that awaits them.

The one thing that has the greatest impact on their life, is how to develop a growth mindset which is crucial to their mental health, self-esteem, confidence and overall success.

Only through guidance, resources and healthy relationships can a sense of individual’s responsibility be restored that will give children the commitment to follow through on path to adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
